Laser is a reduction method, it doesn’t destroy the follicle which can lead to eventual re-growth.
>What should I expect during the consultation?
During the consultation we will talk about many things such as your medical history & previous hair removal history, I’ll explain what electrolysis is & how it works. I’ll do a skin & hair exam & a 15 minute session & lastly we will come up with a treatment plan specific for you & of course answer any & all questions you have.
>How many sessions will I need ?
This is part of the treatment plan we will discuss at the consultation. This number depends on many things such as area to be treated, how much hair you have, your time availability & your previous methods of removal, but in general, it will take 1-2 years to achieve. Electrolysis is a marathon, not a sprint.
> Does it hurt?
Most people say it can feel like a pinch or a heat sensation. But everyone is different & at your consultation we can chat more about ways to make the treatment more comfortable for you.
